I don't know if I should complain about this or not, but my toddler likes to take naps just when she starts to get really fun to be around. She fell asleep while she was showing off how she could make animal noises but for the wrong animals. Bunnies roar, did you know bunnies roar? Adorable. But now she's napping and I have nothing else to entertain me. No, I don't sleep. So instead of causing trouble to keep myself busy I'm gonna open up some questions to all of you. Sounds fun, right?

Answer whatever you feel comfortable answering:

Okay, Dean will answer the questions.

1) Dean does know what that word means.
1+1) Dean has never kissed before.
1+1+1) No, but Dean's friends have.
1+1+1+1) Smashing someone.
1+1+1+1+1) Find someone to love. Dean does not want to live more than Dean needs to.. Dean was already Less Blue(tm)
1+1+1+1+1+1) Why not both?
1+1+1+1+1+1+1) A favor, Dean doesn't have any money.
1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1) Share, Dean will always share Dean's food!
1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1) Dean does not see any reason for either.
1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1) Truth. Dean always tells the truth and wants the truth being told to Dean. No lies.

It means things you are afraid of. Like you could be afraid of the dark or fire, or spiders. I once knew a guy who was afraid of the color yellow.

She sounds very sweet! Let me see if I can help keep you occupied.

1. Yes - but sharing my particular nightmares would make this much less fun.
2. A kiss of friendship, but we were sitting in a farmer's wagon, next to some chickens.
3. Yes.
4. That is not an easy question! Let's just say magic.
5. I'd choose love.
6. Animals dressed as humans.
7. Money. It is less complicated that way.
8. Share, always.
9. My magic wouldn't benefit from a wand, so I'd take the machine.
10. The truth, every time.

Is it just me or are chickens weirdly judgemental over kisses? I knew one hen, she would race out to peck you if she caught you kissing in the farm yard.

They are! It isn't just kisses, either. Luchara pointed out to me that one of them kept staring at us, as if she knew that we weren't supposed to be in that wagon.

I did once encounter a failed spell that caused someone's pet cat to moo for about a week.

1. The muggle machines, although it is debatable whether phobia is the right word, because as fears go, it is perfectly rational.
2. I'm not the sentimental sort.
3. Technically, I suppose so.
4. Are there any constables here? It wouldn't happen in Britain. If I did anything foolish the Aurors would take me home and tell my father, I expect.
5. I don't know. I do want to get older, but getting old is something else.
6. No. Both are equally absurd.
7. It depends on whom your creditors are. When in doubt, money is safer, but among friends, that can cause unpleasantness, and you're better off with favours.
8. Share. I say it from experience; having your aunt send you enormous cakes every so often does help with popularity at school.
9. Being stuck in the future can be tiresome, but being without a wand would be far worse.
10. Tell the truth if some good can come of it, but if it cannot, the lie is kinder.

You know, you keep bouncing through these modern worlds. Maybe you're supposed to learn to embrace technology and change before you're allowed to go home? Just a thought.

It was even more fun when someone put the sleeping cat in a professor's cupboard so that when it woke up he would think a small cow had somehow gotten in there!

What, as if I were the unhappy protagonist of some literary tragedy? Disobey my father and abandon my family's values so that I can return to a home that I'd then no longer deserve or likely even want to be part of? But you know that. I expect you're bored, and so this is a lesson in why it's a mistake to be honest about one's fears. Can we pretend I told an entertaining story instead? Something about being chased round and round a pond by an angry goose, and having a terror of poultry as a result, perhaps.

Oh lovely boy, it is a shame you're too young to drink because you sound like you need one. Or maybe a hug.

A little vulnerability is good, makes it easy to relate to others. For example, I'm generally terrified of being alone. Most mortals are social creatures and they know that fear. Boom, we've bonded.

But legitimately, geese are evil.

The drink sounds like a fine idea. Come now, in all the years you've lived, how often would a fellow my age be denied a drink when he was clearly in need of one? I cannot see you as a member of a temperance society, and I don't see that the silly rules of some muggles from the far future should matter here, of all places.

Yes, sometimes it can happen that way. Other times the person might take the thing you're afraid of and use it to make you feel worse. I shan't do that to you, though. I imagine being alone when you don't wish to be is horrid.

Geese are also tasty, so perhaps that makes up for it.

They come up with the strangest things at that age! My Susannah decided that every four-legged animal was a dog, no matter how often I told her otherwise. Is she your first daughter? You're lucky not to be sleep-deprived.

I'll try the questions.

1. I don't think so. Nothing worth mentioning.
2. In the sea, or in a train compartment but we did a little more than

4. I don't think I'd break the law.
5. I wish we could have grown old together.
6. Now who would be angrier, the babies or the animals? In one of the storerooms here I found some jumpers with bear ears attached to the hoods. My youngest children love them!
7. A favor. There's no interest to pay that way.
8. Make sure you have enough to feed yourself and your loved ones, then share the rest.
9. A time machine, to revisit the happiest times of life.
10. It depends. I've told both.

That's so cute, Hades is still like that. And no, she's my 148th child, she is the first I'm raising completely by myself though, save her father. It is nice having nannies and attendants but I get to witness all the sweet moments first hand and that's really lovely.

Your answers make you sound delightfully sweet.

How old is Hades? Did you mean to write 14th? That's a wonderfully large family. Roland and I always wanted lots of children. We had seven. I really do admire your optimistic outlook. Most women who were used to having others look after their children would struggle to do it alone, but you're finding the best in the situation.

He's very old, he just likes dogs. And no, honey, I'm Aphrodite. I have a lot of children, it goes with the territory. And you know how it is, gotta be that modern woman who does it all right? Or at least look like it because taking care of her is the closest thing to domestic I do, and I don't have a job right now.

Oh, sure I can, handsome.

1) Been working on a bad case of autophobia for a few centuries now.
2) Irkalla or maybe Kansas.
3) Rarely with money.
4) Public indecency, murder, disturbing the peace and creating a public nuisance by causing it to rain glitter and thus cause the sewers to back up.
5) Eternal youth. While I do love my love, he and I both know that it isn't the only love we could have.
6) I have to go with babies, for reasons.
7) Money is the smart answer, especially when you have the friends and family I do.
8) Always share.
9) More familiar with the other kind of magic wand, so let's go time machine.
10) Always lie to me, please.
