Is there a qualified medical doctor here? Preferably a female one, with knowledge of late 21st century medicine or its equivalent.

It's on wheel 3. When you get in the elevator, press this symbol [picture of the alien symbol for hospital]. It'll take you to the right floor. The medbay's big. You can't miss it.

Do you/did you work in a medical profession?
That's fine. The earlier, the better.

Got it! Thanks.

Not exactly. I'm the firstborn of the second generation of a spacer colony, which means that everyone I grew up around was a highly-trained specialist in something, and they all wanted to pass on something, because, you know, something goes wrong out there and the nearest help might be decades away. But I'm better at repairing machines than people.

That and maybe we do more routine monitoring than you're used to? A friend of mine said you were early 21st century. History's not my strong point, but some things have probably changed.

I've been on the station for a few years now. The medical equipment here may be similar to what you're used to, being from spacer colony.

That said, I will still strongly recommend the monitoring from my time as well, such as physical exams, blood tests and ultrasound.  I'll also want to take a patient history.
