I'm just going to come out and ask this. How is everyone else not awed by the fact that there are gods - literal gods - on the station with us?

I have worshipped at many altars, and the way I came to understand it was that the gods were beyond us and that when I prayed on the eve of battle, the Lady of War did not mind if I called to her as Inanna or as Venus ~~or Freyja~~ or Saint Joan. The same with all the other gods and goddesses in their own domains.

Now I hear that Thor and Loki are here. Does that mean that countless other peoples were wrong, and the Norsemen right?

	They are worshipped in my world as well, or at least they were ~~do those pagans and druids count?~~ But so were many other gods. What were they all then? Aliens? That would give them power and skill beyond the human population. But I can tell you that we never saw them. We never met any deity that was not a deified king, and that was completely different.
