Does anyone have any questions about Nueva York? I would have posted this earlier, but I was busy being home.

Edit: If your hand is itchy when you go through to Nueva York, I think you'll have a cred chip implant. Ask Lyla to run a scan before you leave my apartment, and she'll tell you what sort of chip you've got (and how much money you can spend).

So, this might be out of left field but, do you know if anyone has figured out how to cure AIDS in your time?

Are you okay? Are you infected? Or Eddie?

No, not us. We're good. But I know someone.

Okay. Good.

There is a cure, yes. The treatment lasts between 4 to 8 weeks, and it's a series of injections that are genetically engineered so that it's personalized to each specific patient. There are some side effects (severe headaches, nausea, extreme vertigo, all-over body aches and so on), so each injection would then require a 12-hour period of observation by Dr. Cuddy. It's not as quick or as easy as a cancer treatment (they typically take 24 hours to engineer, and 12 hours after injection to take effect, and side effects are minimal) but it works.

So your Someone will need to provide a series of genetic samples, and then once I get the injections back from the lab at work, they'll have to make good friends with Dr. Cuddy.

And we could engineer the treatment ahead of time and bring it back here? So he'd be able to finish it even after the door closes if he needs to?

Fantastic.

I'll talk to him.

I'll want to talk to him and to Dr. Cuddy as well before I take any samples. She'll probably want to do a full medical for him as well, although that's her call and not mine.

It's probably a good idea anyway. He's from the late 80s when it was all still rumors and cover-ups and shame. I'm sure she could help ease some worry until he can get through the treatments.
