Does anyone have any questions about Nueva York? I would have posted this earlier, but I was busy being home.

Edit: If your hand is itchy when you go through to Nueva York, I think you'll have a cred chip implant. Ask Lyla to run a scan before you leave my apartment, and she'll tell you what sort of chip you've got (and how much money you can spend).

What age are we talking? There's a huge market for Twencen things. A friend of mine collects Twencen memorobilia so I can give you directions to the best places for selling those. There are antique dealers as well, for things that are older. If you actually want pawn shops, those are in Downtown and they're usually pretty shocking dodgy.

Although you'll need a cred chip to get the money from any of those places. There isn't any cash here.

	Well considering I come from 2017 and have lived since 796, I have a plethora of things that don't have any sentimental value. Not to mention the things I pinched from my door in 2019. 	I can do all those things. The chip's an implant in your non-dominant hand, so you'd need to get to a bank and open an account, determine the cred limit based on a lot of factors, and then they'd put the implant in. It's shocking itchy for the first week or so, but you get used to it. Once it's in, you can use it straight away. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Tobacco is illegal, you'll have to get that from Downtown, along with the marijuana. I wouldn't touch any of the harder drugs if I were you. They're engineered to bond with you at the genetic level, so once you try them, you're hooked for life. Alcohol is easy enough, though. Where are you? Are you in my apartment? Just enjoy yourselves, and let me know one way or another. Just be careful, of course.

Need and want are two different things. If you see something that is calling your name there is no point in depriving yourself of it. You are allowed to spoil yourself. And only you will know how to do that. And if you do not want me to use my chip to get it, then I can give you some twencen things and antiques that you can take to the people who buy those things to give yourself a higher credit limit.

And before you ask, I do not do this for some sort of repayment later. I know you will watch my daughter's back as she will watch yours, and that is enough.

Okay. Good.

There is a cure, yes. The treatment lasts between 4 to 8 weeks, and it's a series of injections that are genetically engineered so that it's personalized to each specific patient. There are some side effects (severe headaches, nausea, extreme vertigo, all-over body aches and so on), so each injection would then require a 12-hour period of observation by Dr. Cuddy. It's not as quick or as easy as a cancer treatment (they typically take 24 hours to engineer, and 12 hours after injection to take effect, and side effects are minimal) but it works.

So your Someone will need to provide a series of genetic samples, and then once I get the injections back from the lab at work, they'll have to make good friends with Dr. Cuddy.
