It is said that this is where one might introduce themselves, and upon encouragement from Sir Artorias, I have decided to partake in this tradition. So greetings to you, I am the Lord's Blade Ciaran, and Knight of Gwyn, newly arrived from Oolacile. That is an important one. Sometimes people just use smiling faces to show they are not being sarcastic. I've seen people use winking icons: ;-) or sticking out your tongue :-P to convey irony and humour. Something more specific to sarcasm is an upside down smiley. Easier to do on the phones though. It looks like this: 🙃 If you want to get that, you need to type in &# followed by 128579;. I cannot spell it out together because it will automatically convert to the smiley.

Don't worry about it. We try to help the ones who arrive here. A friendly face eases the shock a little.
