Posted a few hours after Jake's post
For anyone who wants to check out my family's home realm, I've placed a chest full of coins in front of the gate as well as another filled with clothes - in case you would like to blend in with the locals. Everyone in Asgard speaks the All-Tongue so they should be able to understand you and I made Dad put a few spells up so that Heimdall will not recognise you as unwelcome guests.

Enjoy the trip!

She helped bring relief my wounds. Fed my wolf, Sif. Gave us clothing and shelter and did not hesitate to teach us of our new world. What she did for us that day was more than generous.

I suppose in a way she reminded me much of the Gods whom I served in my world too.

Another excellent question. I would avoid mentioning that you are from Midgard. Midgardians do usually not have access to Asgard. If you pretend you are a generic traveller or someone from Vanaheim you should be fine.

That said, it should only really raise suspicions if it gets to the chief of guards or Heimdall. Common folk with not question guests of the Royal family.

I think it is safe as long most do so. A few travelers might not raise any suspicion but a horde of them will. They will notice your lack of Asgardian language anyway. But if the markets are suddenly very obviously crowded with foreigners it is more likely to attract attention.

My grandmother and my father speak the language of Asgard. Suzume is almost fluent in it too. I would ask either of the women if they might teach you. Brenna, Astrid and Brynhild also speak Old Norse. It is closely related to it. Unless it is the All-Tongue you would like to learn. I do not know if it is possible for humans to do so. It consists of more than just words.

I'm not entirely human... Not really. Mines is an old soul. I'm a reincarnated Atlantean. I know the old tongue of Atlantis, or rather I sort of found I could remember it one day.

I thought this was you paying me back. ;-) But I can certainly teach you important life skills: clipping back raptor claws, using dragon fire to make a bbq or making your house Norse god proof.

But I can also play the guitar, the piano and know how to use a camera well.

Because the male ones destroy your kitchen if you leave them unsupervised. They try to make waffles, you end up with a ruined mixer. Or you hold your weekly mario kart tournament and your uncle gets so into it that he accidentally rips one of cords from the controllers. He got really good in the end but at first it was a disaster. They really underestimate their strength.
