Greetings to whomever finds this message. I am Knight Artorias, and it would seem, like most of you, I have been brought here for some reason that I am not aware of. Perhaps brought here by some guiding hand? I suppose it matters not. I have come here with my faithful companion, Sif. Please do not be alarmed if you find her. She is a very protective wolf.

This is such a strange and marvellous device. I am still learning how to use it, and there is much to learn about this place. Might I ask if there is a blacksmiths where I might be able to have my armour and sword repaired?

Hell is basically a place for the 'bad' people to go, after they die, for their souls to be endlessly tortured for all eternity. For the Christian religion anyway.

Are you confined to your bed?

Who decides which souls are bad? Perhaps in my world, Velka might take that role. She is the Goddess of Sin.

Lady Frigga and her son Loki have extensive libraries in their home, but if it's that book you want to read it might not be there. I don't know. I'll bring you my copy.

I do not know. Had I been nearer to the abyss it would have been needed sooner, but since I am now far from it, I believe I can fight its spread for longer.
