I hope I am not bothering anyone by posting this, but I am concerned over things that have happened tonight and thought I would ask. I know I am from a very different time than the rest of you, but it appears that I am not quite sure how things work here.

Is it considered wrong now to offer hospitality?

In my day, it was a great wrong to be inhospitable to someone who was in your land, or in your kingdom. Wars were caused - and averted - by such things. And yet, when I offered hospitality to a troubled man tonight I was insulted grievously. Have I done wrong? I hope I do not now live in a world where it is considered improper to be hospitable and kind to a fellow traveler.

	Maybe she was just having a bad day, then. It happens sometimes. Either way, I wouldn't worry about it. You do what feels right for you and don't worry about anybody else. 	Bridget is a very sweet girl, though. I don't think she's the type to be impolite for the sake of it. No, it was just simple kindness. You did nothing wrong and I was the foolish one.

Before coming here I was one of the people responsible for leading my tribe. We had a newcomer who had been treated very badly for years and the first thing she did was to move in with a man who continued to treat her poorly, despite mine and other people's efforts to ensure she knew she was free now, and there was nothing I could do about it. When I saw you were making the new Peter dinner, I remembered that experience and I suppose I took out on you. That was wrong of me.

And please, just call me Bridget. There's no need for formality on my account.
