It is my turn to announce baby news! Guys, you have no idea how excited I am.

[Ooc: The nest is smaller and carries six eggs instead.]

Aren't they pretty? Also, does anyone know when the little ones are likely to escape their shells?

Yeah, that’s the one.

There was a social movement at the time that blamed alcohol for all of society’s problems - poverty, crime, poor health and what have you. It was a sort of scapegoat for a lot of problems that emerged after the First World War and a lot of people bought into it.

It kind of backfired on them, it just meant no regulations so booze ended up stronger, dirtier and cheaper if you knew the right people.

Outside world problems always fascinate me. Big societies are scary machines. Sometimes I wonder how civilisations are able to exist for so long. Blame is too easily dispensed and it can spread like a virus.

I find the small more frightening in some ways, but I think that’s just a case of what you are more used to. But you’re right - were always blaming something or someone for our problems on a massive scale. It is frightening how easily a population can be manipulated and persuaded.

Oh, small societies frighten me too. In hindsight, the society I grew up in was scary. And its diversity made it worse at points.

So, basically, groups of people of any size are kind of freaky?

That describes my opinion rather well.
