As someone who has lived through both world wars as I believe a few of us have, while I appreciate the desire to celebrate life, I'm asking that we observe the two minute silence at 11am on November 11th, as we would in the UK, to remember the fallen.

Anyone who would like a poppy, I am happy to provide.

	All one can do is try and hope. My son was liberated from Bergin-Belson. I was horrified when he went to fight in Vietnam, but he said that it was the right thing to do. I didn't like the decision but I am very proud of the man he became. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
