He did. But he covered it with a ruse. Something about what should happen to your son in case something happened to the both you... split responsibility between Brynhild and myself. Of course that is unacceptable for me. I would have gladly excepted sole responsibility but sharing would put a burden on me I cannot carry, especially not after Brynhild's betrayal to my brother. That would not go down with Shannon either. If I will raise another child, it will be with her. We did not even get to raise our first child together.

I found out quickly enough that he was only toying with me. After giving me a whole speech about how betrayal should not matter in the face of an innocent child, and I insisted he would need to make a choice, he told me that it could only be Brynhild because he could not betray his friend. It would have been very amusing if he had not used the one responsibility I take very seriously. Either he believes me dumb or uncaring.

Next time it might be best if you ask me every request the moment it comes to your mind so your man does not have the chance to ruin it.

Now, that wasn't right. I will admit that I haven't know Bryn as long as he has... But if anything happens to us, wouldn't Reeve go along with us? He wasn't conceived here. Not that I dislike the idea of 'just in case'. And Bryn hasn't had kids in a very long time.

I wish he would have talked to me about it, before coming to you. It makes more sense for Reeve to go to you, you have younger children in your house, that are more recently yours.

:P Well, I didn't want to give you time enough to watch videos and read books about childbirth that would make you change your mind.

I cannot pretend to know the intricacies of this place but there has been precedence that this is not always the case. Laura's children were conceived elsewhere and yet, after their parents passed on, they are still here.

What? It should be enough for me to be close, should it not? Surely there is no need for me to stand witness to the birth itself.

How about this, it would sate you both I think: if something happens to me and Blank, Reeve goes to you and Shannon. If anything happens to you and your lot Reeve will go to Bryn. And that way if Kat doesn't want responsibility of him, she has someone else to go to, but if she does: Reeve goes to Bryn only if something happens to her and Rhysand.

Oh no, you're the only one that's like me. I'll need you to catch him. You won't see me in my altogether that would take too much energy I think. This is all theory of course, because I had a weird dream, and it unnerves me a little.

	I couldn't leave the house for a while, sometimes when I was strong I could make it out to the carriage house, but that's as far as I could go. It was far enough to keep developers from coming in and tearing the place down. But so were my antics. After I met Blank I could move all around the grounds, he helped me be strong.
