I know, I'm sorry. I went when he was laid to rest, but I kept myself undetectable to anyone, because I didn't want to intrude on the grieving.

It's part of my nesting process. I don't know if it will be a dirty process but I'd like to be prepared.

Now, I did not want to turn the conversation into such a sour topic.

Do not ever mention this around young Edward. Crumbs on the table scare him. The boy is heavily damaged.

Will the father of the child be in agreement with our discussed arrangement? He does not know me well. I could arrange a more pleasurable meeting between all of us.

Sorry, it is a difficult one.

I wouldn't dream of it! Just the thought of getting you messy horrifies me. But I lay that at the door of how I was raised, and how the times were back then.

I haven't talked to him yet, but I don't see why not. He wants to like you because I do. He's funny like that.

I wouldn't recommend it usually, but such an amazing little being comes from all this trouble, and that kind of makes it worth it.

I've learned he will pretty much try anything once.

I hope you will like it there. I'm considering to buy the property the restaurant is on. Give my grandchildren and their friends the opportunity to roam under a natural sky. You would be welcome to take your son whenever you like.

Thank you. Sometimes I have my doubts.

I'm sure I will, you have impeccable taste. Oh, how I wish I would have thought to bring you to the Belle while ya'll were in Atlanta, I would have loved to show you my home. I will admit the fountain in the foyer is a little ostentatious, but running water is essential to most ghosts.

I think that is an inherent part of a good parent. Your doubts are what drives you to find a way to do better.

Oh, no, this was before I have the technology I have now, it was put in even before I had the necklace I gave you. Even before I could leave the grounds. Being a midgardian ghost was bad for a long time.

I couldn't leave the house for a while, sometimes when I was strong I could make it out to the carriage house, but that's as far as I could go. It was far enough to keep developers from coming in and tearing the place down. But so were my antics. After I met Blank I could move all around the grounds, he helped me be strong.

Oh I have used that before him. I had to scare away vandals and squatters, too. That's how I found out most of the things I can do with that method.

Oh, you'll laugh at me, but he came back. He loved me. I've never found more strength in anything else.
