Forgive me, sire, but I...I have to speak for myself and say that it, in our eyes, is certainly not ridiculous...

I love your son, my lord. More than anything. And I understand that you see me as nothing more than a servant but Arthur sees me as the woman I am. And with or without your blessing I will remain his wife. Because we love each other, and that isn't something you can command stopping...Sire.
