A Gremlin got in the TARDIS, but I managed to get him before he did any damage.

Then I reverse engineered a Mogwai.

He's really a very chipper fellow. I think I'll call him Mickey.

Mary, dear, maybe you should go to a different Colligo for a bit. Just until it's safer. I'm certain it can't be dangerous everywhere.

Oh, fantastic. Now we have to determine what constitutes "after midnight" in a time machine that can't travel through time. </s>For a genius, you are such a naive dimwit.</s>

Oh. I took care of that. He can't turn into a Gremlin. Simple genetic modification.

So you've sterilized the thing by removing part of its biological nature. Very clever, Doctor. Cruel, but certainly interesting.

I'm working on a water-soluble toxin. Perhaps a parasite targeted to their DNA? Hm. No, no. A prion would probably work best. They're the least adaptable, and we wouldn't want trouble a few hundred years down the road.

I think he's happier for it. Mogwai don't necessarily want to be Gremlins.

Would you like some help? Two heads are better than one and all. We do well enough when we're working toward a common goal.
