What are these green creatures that break into apartments? Are they common here?

I was filling a bath when one burst in on me. It developed disgusting sores on its back that grew into more creatures. I managed to strangle the first with a hair dryer cord before it could do much more damage, and then I threw the dryer in the tub to deal with the new ones. That seemed to work. I think the bathroom is ruined now.

What do I do with the bodies?

They're called gremlins and no, they definitely aren't common here.

Water makes them multiply and sunlight is deadly to them. They can die other ways, but if you want to be safe from them, you need to get outside in the sunlight.

They're dangerous, so be careful. I'm going to contact the man in charge of crisis management to let him know what's going on. Hopefully He'll have a plan.

Ah. Is this one of those strange happenings?

That explains why they went for my bath.

Is it safe to leave the bodies unattended?
