Screw this. You people don't want to say it? Fine. I will.

We don't have a plan and she keeps killing us. She's not going to stop. So why aren't we giving her what she wants already? That Key isn't any more or less special than my friends or anyone else's.

Because not giving her what she wants is working out just great for those of us who don't make a living out of other people being murdered.

Try to imagine how you'd feel if Cas or Dean was the Key and I said we should hand them over.

Cas or Dean would hand themselves over if it meant saving everybody else. Or they'd at least do more than offer a random 'oh noes' or 'sorry!' everytime someone else died because of them.
