AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Just in time for the ball~ Guys, meet Narazda Tethras. She's 48, a Merchants' Guild deshyr, and would argue that she truly keeps Nevarra running. Sure, she's queen of nothing, but without trade, where would the country be? Yeah, exactly. Show some respect, kids.

In all seriousness, she's the local HBIC in the Merchants' Guild, having taken over House Tethras from her husband, who died of the taint at the start of the Blight 14 years ago. She busts balls, takes names, and delegates like it's going out of style. You can read more about her here.

• Connections! She's got a biiiiiiig network of people running her businesses in Nevarra and the Free Marches. She mixes with the nobility. She has relationships with the Circles (lyrium, anyone?). Her people run many of the town's taverns, brothels, gambling establishments, and so on.
