AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Just in time for the ball~ Guys, meet Narazda Tethras. She's 48, a Merchants' Guild deshyr, and would argue that she truly keeps Nevarra running. Sure, she's queen of nothing, but without trade, where would the country be? Yeah, exactly. Show some respect, kids.

In all seriousness, she's the local HBIC in the Merchants' Guild, having taken over House Tethras from her husband, who died of the taint at the start of the Blight 14 years ago. She busts balls, takes names, and delegates like it's going out of style. You can read more about her here.

Merchants' Guild dwarves! Come at her! Let her make your careers! SHE NEEDS A SECOND IN COMMAND GUYS.

Carta. She Does Not Like You. She's spent the last decade making sure that doing business in Nevarra is HARD for the Carta. No doubt you're all so grateful.

Friends! She can be nice, if you don't mind the crazy driven Type-A sort of friend who probably doesn't know how to relax. Most likely older characters only.

Connections! She's got a biiiiiiig network of people running her businesses in Nevarra and the Free Marches. She mixes with the nobility. She has relationships with the Circles (lyrium, anyone?). Her people run many of the town's taverns, brothels, gambling establishments, and so on.

Stuff and things COME AT ME BROS.

So uh. Midha.

They're from the same hometown! Except Narazda left when Midha was born it looks like?????? BUT STILL, Midha SUPER INVOLVED with the Carta for the next 21 years, plus she traveled a lot between the ages of 15-21 as a smuggler so~ Also, her parents were involved with the Carta in Tantervale for YEARS before Midha was born, too.

I imagine even if they never met personally, Midha would know her name QUITE well as she was probably one of the primary sources of headache and stress for her boss. But if they did ever meet prior, that meeting probably ended sooooooooooooooo poorly -- mostly for Middy~ kekekekekeke

BASICALLY, LET ME THROW MIDHA AT HER, THIS HAS ALL THE POTENTIAL FOR GLORIOUS, INTENSE INTERACTIONS

	Yeah, if they ever crossed paths, I feel like poor Midha would have limped away from that encounter. Narazda doesn't do her own clean-up, generally, but you know, POSSIBILITIES. But she knows the Aenoch name. She is not fond of your people, Midha. :\| ANY PARTICULAR IN PERSON HISTORY YOU WANT TO PLAN OUT BEFORE THEY SEE EACH OTHER AT THE BALL AHAHAHAHA. LMAO oh my goooooooooooooood especially since Midha was seriously super haphazard about her fighting "style" before getting trained as a duelist, so Narazda would have pwned her easily. Midha has more discipline now?????? But Narazda also has YEARS have experience over her still, lmao, so no duel between them would go in Midha's favor I feel like, not even if Middy plays dirty (and she absolutely would, too). XDDDDDD BUT STILL I MEAN. If we wanted them to have an encounter in their histories, we should absolutely do that~

Though there is some fun juiciness in having the first time they meet be at the ball, they introduce themselves, and then SUDDEN TENSION the instant either of them say their names. idk what I'm more attracted to: Midha having to face a prior humiliation or this. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I down for that!!!! Midha was trained as an assassin but she more used those skills more for when smuggling jobs went sour -- maybe somehow Narazda was the cause of one such incident?? Or something! But yes, let's go with previous acquaintance for sure. I'd also imagine that maybe IF Narazda knows Midha is still alive maybe Midha doesn't know she knows? And Narazda knows she doesn't know she knows? idk I'm open!!

Let's seeeeeee..... she knows and likes Oz's father. She side-eyes him and his mother though, dear. She's known him since he was a kid, I think we said (well, ne never got much taller than a kid......) and thinks you're wasting your potential on ale and one night stands. Straighten up and DO something with your life, Oswulf. :|

She knows and likes Isolde. She knows who keeps thins running smoothly around here. She also contributes to the local charities and hel;ps keep docks violence down so, you know, win/win for everyone.

I thought of it as a bit of both. Primarily realistic, but they can be mixed with imagery that is surreal/metaphorical to varying degrees--like, crypto-images, atypically colored animals/objects/people, etc. Visions can fall along of a spectrum of "exact happenings" to "realistic sequences w/added eerie symbolism" to "Fade's answer to Google's Deep Dream Generator." In a nutshell: dreamlike and very, very weird.
