Julie here with her replacement second, at last! This is Magister Drusilla Branas, cold-hearted blood mage of the Tevinter Imperium, 30yo sister to Godric ~~Branas~~ Tagaris, and a real piece of work.

She's bright and charming and chatty on the surface, but deeply manipulative and opportunistic beneath; luckily(?), her worst sides will be reserved for the Tagarises and those connected to them. But to most others, she'll seem like a cunning politician but at least not, yanno, the actual spawn of the devil. She's also a bit of an academic nerd, and can lose herself in magical theory/practice for hours. She's arriving with her Laetan bff Tatiana to join the Tevene delegation, carting along an ancient magical artefact that they've been researching for the past couple years and which might come in handy for Reasons...

And really appreciate what she is here to do. I really want him to have a pleasant relationship with a terrible person, okay, because he's So Damn Good but his priorities line up with hers??????

Cas: Legit, I would so love the dramatic irony of sweet good puppy Caspian getting along with Drusilla because he thinks the best of people and therefore doesn't see the viper beneath?? And yessss re: the priorities lining up -- the sort of alliance that comes about through extenuating circumstances, and their lining up on the same 'side' so that Good™ and Evil™ can, somehow, weirdly coexist >__>

Noëlle: We'll totally need to toss these two together at some dumb party, since they're both opportunistic women who work the angles for their own benefit, but... turned on its head and both so very different. idk I feel like it'd be a bit like Drusilla seeing herself through a glass darkly AND I WANT IT?

Cas: Yes, good, done, he'll play Warden/mage liaison either way when that plot gets off the ground, they will get thrown together naturally!

Noe: YES GOOD I WANT THIS TOO. They are very very similar but like.... their sociopathy has taken them completely different routes so ~similar but different~ and very interesting. There's a Big Party next month so we can do that orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr any small shindig they both wind up at really?

Lev: You're making my dreams come true over here. I've been writing bitty!Lev recently anyhow (to go up end of month) sooooooooooo I am down 4 dis. He really loathed her, you have no idea how disappointed he was she didn't die along with daddy, ugh. ~~But if they ever cross weapons please let's just fuck both of them up terribly tyvmia~~
