Are you serious? You've had a roof over your head? Why wasn't it OUR roof? We understand that you couldn't sleep there but you could have TOLD us or shown up at the door and not had to say anything at all and we still would've understood

Why are you pushing us away? Why are you trying to deal with this alone when we're HERE for you? And because you didn't answer: don't you know by now that you can stay with us?
