Hey... um... I need help. The teacher has given us an essay to write on how lessons learned in classic literature can be applied to modern life and I... well, I don’t get it. I mean, I didn't learn anything other than I'd much rather be staring at incoherent zeros and ones than read the novels the teacher set us again.

There are books. In the library. Hundreds of them.

I need more excuses to stay up late. Really late. Not-sleeping late.

There is an uninvited visitor among us. My delightful older brother, Lucifer has crept into this world. He has no corporeal form, but that doesn't make him harmless. As with all Archangels of my origin, he can dream walk. He needs a body, so he will likely try and convince you to allow him to commandeer yours through your dreams.

Do not say yes. Avoid that word at all costs.

Unlike Demons, we can't just take control. We need permission. Lucifer is very persuasive, he will tempt you by saying he can "fix" things, or "stop" events from happening. While he is capable of that, he's lying. Once he's got his own way, he'll forget all his promises to you.

In the meantime, I'll construct a place to contain him.

If he visits your dreams just do as I said, say no, tell him to take a hike. I will deal with him.

I thought we had a good couple of months before winter set in. I woke up to frost on my windows this morning. What's up with that?

The staff at the zoo have informed me that all the animals are back safe and sound. Thank you to those that helped. Your efforts are most appreciated.

Unfortunately, during the escape of the zoo animals, I was unable to keep track of a number of people that have returned to their worlds. The list is as follows: Stephanie Brown, Lydia Martin, Remy LeBeau and Maggie. I am truly sorry to share the news of their departure and promise the items they owned whilst here will be taken care of and placed in a safe storage facility, where they will be welcome to reclaim them should they return.

EDITED TO ADD: Arthur Dent, Malia Tate and Bill Potts have also returned to their home world.

Apologies. I am going to be late home from work tonight given the amount of recent departures. I'm not even sure I recorded them all. I was hoping to help with more research into a possible retrieval. But... I can bring home fries and ketchup once I am done. Or will you be asleep?

I'm pretty sure the elephants have accepted Ace as one of their people, and he's delighted. He's refusing to come back inside.

I'm guessing the Wyvern isn't supposed to be flying around the city?

I think I'm almost starting to get the hang of this teleporting thing. I know where I'm going to end up like 70% of the time now.

I gotta say, the coffee here's pretty good.

Then again, I've drunk coffee cold out of a cup that was left for three weeks while we were in the freezers so my taste buds aren't exactly the greatest.

First day of university today. Already got kicked out of class and it's not even lunch time. Learning is so fun.

I had this one teacher, back at Gotham Academy, who said I could be anything. Partly she was saying it to get me to stop fighting at recess, but I am definitely sure she did not mean becoming a tutor at a university built by an archangel/Norse god.

I applied for a couple of jobs at the University and now I am a teacher. So if you are looking to sign up for the class on 21st Century Technology, my name's Barbara and I'll be the one sitting at the teacher's desk. Classes will start Monday next week, on the 11th.
