You guys really donโ€™t sing much here do you? Or dance.

They told me I should try out for the Cheer squad at school, which I could do, and get in. But I was on an athletic scholarship to college for Football back home, so I kinda need to play here so Berkeley or whoever can see what I can do.

In our band, when we perform. In rehearsals, in class. Walking to class while Iโ€™m listening to music. I love singing.

Our drummer Alex is the big dancing fan!

I feel like singing most days. It's a way to fill the space and the silence. And sometimes it's the best way to get your feelings out!

That sounds like so much fun! I have not though. I can probably look it up? You're a cheerleader?

yeah, it weirded me out at first, too. there was so much of it back home and here it's just...a lot of noise. it reminds me of the isle in some ways.
