Is it considered cheating if a person uses a little magic to encourage a new plant along in growth? Not that I really care if it is, but I thought I'd ask.

The little card in the soil said it's a pothos. It was kind of poorly looking at the shop, so I decided to rescue it and see if I could make it look better.

I like to think they know when they are being cared for. I also imagine they enjoy the feeling of sunshine on their leaves.

But that might just be because I get my energy from the sun too.

I don't actually know much about Jotunheim other than it's perpetually winter and I'm of Frost Giant heritage.

You should talk to Willow Park. She's incredible with plants. I'm pretty sure she actually communicates with them but that's too close to magic for my senses to grasp.

I can't communicate with them in a traditional sense of talking, but the enchantment I use is a sort of communication, I suppose. I'm not sure how else to describe it.

I think I understand magic well enough by now to get that. From what I understand, Willow actually speaks with them somehow, similar to how Dee does with the squirrels but not spoken, I think.

That's actually a really good way of thinking about it. I think it's similar to the way Dee speaks to the squirrels, except in her case it's literally in her DNA. She understands in a way we physically can't.

there's no way that's cheating, at least not in a bad way. i've done way worse with magic.
