This is all incredibly fascinating, really. I knew time-travel was possible, of course, but traveling to an entirely different dimension is quite another thing! A part of me isn’t sure this isn’t all some elaborate hoax!

All the same, my name is Hermione Granger and I’ve come here from England in the year 1999, so it seems I’ve got quite a lot to catch up on!

Is it true that the Statute of Secrecy doesn’t apply here? There’s truly no Ministry of Magic at all?

I was wondering about the Statute of Secrecy too... I have a guardian who I'm sure I need to tell but... I don't know if I'm allowed.

From what I’ve been able to gather, our Ministry and therefore the Statute doesn’t exist here. Theoretically, it seems to be up to us how my we choose to share.

Fly. Do magic without wants. One guy has a metal arm with Muggle technology in it. Another one apparently turns big and green when he gets angry.

There's also a kid who was a ghost and came back. And another girl who is basically immortal.

In one of my first interactions, I was told that there were people who knew about Hogwarts, but neither the school in Scotland nor Ilvermorny exists, here.

1999 is a far cry from where I'm from. I'm Professor Dumbledore but of the 1930s variety.
