What:Some time together.
Rating: tbd
This summer had been one of extreme changes for the two Dale siblings. Fawn's head still felt like it was spinning with what had happened. The beginning of the summer just seemed to start like any other. Their parents were trying once again to talk about their futures, about engagements with the right families, what sort of careers they would be pursing once school was over. And once again it started arguments with the two siblings and their parents. Neither wanted to be engaged and Fawn was desperate not to be forced away from her twin.
It had gotten bad enough that the two had taken to spending more and more time in the forest that was adjacent to their home. They should have realized that it was getting dark, and that the moon was full, but Fawn hadn't wanted to go back. What happened then was such a blur. She could remember the beast charging, and she could remember her brother calling her name, but when she opened her eyes, she had been covered with blood that was not her own. Hunter had been bitten.
That moment changed everything. Their parents went from pushing and overbearing to terrified of their son. the first full moon had been a nightmare. Only Fawn had stayed in the house, determined to be there when her brother returned to normal the next day. And things only got worse. It'd gotten to a point where they actively tried to keep Fawn away from Hunter. Neither twin was going to have that. But being backed into the corner that day proved to Fawn that her brother had changed. He growled at their father, refusing to be bowed and for a moment a thrill ran through her. Fawn still blushed slightly as she thought of it. But the threat had done it's job and the two parents left to one of their vacation homes, leaving the twins a house of their own.
It was actually rather nice. Fawn enjoyed playing house, cooking and cleaning, doing everything she could to help her brother. No one was around to complain that they were too close, or lock her door to ensure that she did not find her way into Hunter's bed. Like today, no one was around to tell her that she couldn't pull on her favorite white chemise that was cool for the hot summer and walk straight into the bedroom that they now shared.
"Hunter, are you in here?"
