LOL! Well, I think fictional characters are bigger and, in their way, have more "reality" -- or at least, a bigger reality -- than real people do. I wouldn't want Brian to be a guy down the street. In fiction, he's bigger than life and twice as real. If he was someone I actually knew, it would diminish him for me somehow.

I do wish his loft was real and I lived in it, however. ;)
