Who dares attempt to imprison Count Dracula? I have been tolerant of your inferior species for far too long - these walls cannot hold me forever, and when I am free, whoever is responsible for this will beg for death when I find them.

[The heavy sound of footsteps as he begins to pace back and forth] All of you will rue the day you crossed me, and this building will be mine, for you are merely mortal and I am superior; I will rule this pitiful place and destroy all who stand in my way.

[A pause] Mina, where are you? I can sense you, but these infernal walls will not yield.

There is nothing you can do. This transformation, why do you think it occurs? Eventually it will become permanent, and when it does I will no longer have to deal with that fool of a man getting in my way. Without him I will be unstoppable, and the first thing I shall do is destroy everyone in this building. Enjoy your pathetic conversation with your husband while you can, Mina. All of this will soon come to an end.

That is where you are wrong. You underestimate these men – for it is not one, but many who stand against you – and that is your folly. This change is to show these people what you truly are, nothing more. And even if by chance it might stay this way, it will only serve us better. That man who contains you is your only saving grace, and not much of one in my opinion. With him out of the picture, there is nothing to stop your enemies.

I have been outnumbered in the past, you foolish woman. I have faced impossible odds and always emerged as the victor - this will be no different. The man who contains me is as pitiful as you and your mortal counterpart, and thus they shall all die at my hand.

I will kill your husband, Mina. I will kill Seward and Van Helsing as well, but I will not kill you - you will be kept alive, to live as the monster you despise, knowing that I slaughtered those you care about.

That may be true, but not with the likes of these men here. It is not just my husband, or his allies, but others here too who would see you fall. You threaten their lives and those they love, and it shall not be tolerated for much longer.

You will not harm one hair on my Jonathan’s head, nor inflict more pain upon the other men. They will stop you, I am sure of it. And my days as this monstrosity are as numbered as yours. When you go, so shall I, and not a moment sooner or later. You won't be around to force me to do evil deeds for much longer.

These men are no different from the countless others I have slaughtered in the past. None of the mortals who reside here are. Once I am free, I shall find those who share my views, and they will become my new legion of the undead. Embarrassments such as yourself will be forced to watch and learn who is the superior of the two: the living or the dead.

Your blind faith bores me, Mina. Enjoy your solitude while you can.
