Characters: Aiden&King Setting: Lobby of Price Corporation (Press Release) Content: G, I'd imagine. Possibly PG for mention of bad things. Summary: Aiden is a good journalist and tries to ferret out some information.
"...so I would hope that you all will support Price Corporation as we strive to greet the future. Any further questions can be directed towards our press office." A slow smile and King nodded to the gathered reporters. It had been a good press release. He'd said absolutely nothing that hadn't already been released except the name of the product. It was a health booster, a very experimental one, but they were in the very beginning human testing stages - or at least so the public thought - so everything was at a wildly sensitive point. It promised to be a very useful and very expensive drug when it was through, so he'd had to answer the usual questions on how could he stand himself when there were dying children in Africa, and all that good stuff.
Of course, there would be about 200 treatments donated, at huge expense, blahblahblah. Really, it wouldn't do anything in Africa. They knew it, he knew it, and it wasn't as if he could change anything, so why even try past the obvious PR opportunity?
It was that grim thought that sent King from his podium, already reaching for his Blackberry and briefcase, nodding to his personal assistant to get the car ready - an efficient man. He had places to be, people to see, business deals to shake on and drugs to think up - or test. He was distracted as he swept carefully around the herd of reporters, now chattering amongst themselves - his bodyguard and assistant behind him, his head down, already studying his new emails on his Blackberry's tiny screen.
