Hi. I know this is last minute but a lot has been happening and I didn't know if I should do anything. But if you're free, I'd love to have you over for dinner tomorrow, on Sunday, to celebrate my birthday.

	I don't need a gift but also people are usually turned off by presents described as "more than accurate." I know it's the kind of date you weren't likely to remember. We've been separated for too long and marking annual birthdays isn't your tradition. I wasn't upset you didn't remember but there was no harm in not reminding me? One of those human things.
