Friends.

I have been lax and remiss in my communications with you all, for which I sincerely apologize.

Rather than message you all individually, and then forget to answer, I thought this easier:

I am returning to Tonsburg. And as I type this, I wonder -- did I remember to even inform anyone other than my brother and his wife that I was no longer living there...

As mentioned before -- I am lacking in my missives.

I have also been lacking in my training and need to get back into this. I thoroughly encourage all potential sparring opportunities. Stormbreaker and I would be appreciative of it.

And as always, guests are welcome and encouraged. Come to my home. I have food. And coffee. And poptarts. And other things. I don't remember all that is in my cupboards. But there is plenty.

Is the blaming of one's parents a Midgardian institution as well? Or is this a universal concept?

Mother never really did anything all that wrong. It was father who bid her to keep secrets from us. ~~It's why they never told me what I truly was until after I found out for myself.~~

As for the universal blaming of at fault parental figures, I'm perfectly fine with that.

Although you do raise a point. At least mother was more apologetic when she spoke to me, and did not look at me as though I was naught more than a bitter disappointment. It is not as though one can go against a king's wishes, either.

There's no telling what lies Hela was fed that festered all those long years. Unless we go forth and ask her.

	Another reason why I bristle over the limitations of the crown. I do not wish to have Jane acquiesce to me. I enjoy the debates and how she has her own opinions. I do not wish to order her to follow me. It is always preferable to have someone want to be with you rather than be directed. Perhaps we should reach out to Hela. Eventually. Not now though. You had no qualms telling that to me once and now I am pointing it out to you. There is time before you make any final decision on that matter, so I advise you to take time and think over it all further before choosing any course of action.

I think it might not be too bad an idea eventually, or at least it would serve as an adventure for the both of us if amends can not be made. However, our Valkyrie will hate that. I know not if it is wise to tell her of such a plan, lest she follow us to Hel to stab her in the heart a few thousand times.

	To thine oneself be true. I could do with an adventure. And the Valkyrie doesn't need to know ...as long as Jane doesn't need to know .... although I fear both those situations will not be worthwhile in the end... I could as well. To tide me over, I shall seek out the young Spiderling and see what he is doing this eve. He's rather amusing. And if you start goading me about having a friend, yes, I have one. I'm not as popular as you, so shut up.

I suppose, although it would be much easier to hide where we are going or what we are doing. Is she still my respective partner if she never remembered wedding me in the first place?
