I think I was surprised, at first, but I think I'd have been hurt if you'd both had memories from after I'd been born because that's when you showed up here, instead of what's gone on. And, even if that had been your last moments at home, I think I'd know it's okay in the end because you get to have what you don't at home. And that's good. You get another chance at everything you want more time for, and that's a good thing.

I was surprised when Luna first told me about you back on the Orient Express. I won't lie and say that I didn't have a crush on your father when I first began being pulled around the multiverse, but he was either with someone else in some places or never pulled with me. At a certain point, I ensured that my only wish was to be given the time to build a relationship with you. And make up for what a future version of myself robbed you of.
