I mentioned this to Damon and Stefan a while back, and my newest part of the idea to Damon tonight:

With all of the threats that have been going on, especially the ones by Katherine, I think it would be best if we all move in together, and with the houses going up maybe that's the best way to do it. Meredith and Alaric would be the humans to keep other vampires out and we wouldn't have roommates who might unknowingly invite someone unwanted in.

As for number of rooms, here's what I'm thinking but I don't know what Meredith and Alaric prefer.

Stefan and I would share one room.
Damon would have his own room.
Meredith and Alaric could either share a room or have separate rooms

So that puts us at 3-4 rooms and I'd like an extra room in case Bonnie or Matt shows up. So maybe 4-5 rooms, what do you guys think?

My birthday was nice. Thank you Elena and Alaric for the surprise party. You both know I usually hate surprises, but this one wasn't bad. For those who came to my party even though you didn't know me, thank you.

I also went to the beach party Tuesday and met some people there.
