I don't see this as hundreds of people. Really. It isn't. Anyone can take offense to anything. Really. There are hundreds of things in the book that people have taken offense for. Groups against harry potter. No one will ever be satisfied in anything. In any bit of fiction or writing, there will be people who will come to conclusions about the offense and take things a bit too personally. No harm was intended, but people will believe what they want. If the name is changed, then it's up to them. As of last night, there was no intention to change the name.

In war, people die. I have family members who died in the war too. With every war, comes death and destruction, in numbers, hundreds, thousands of people. It doesn't make it any less harsh, but if we continue to dwell and attack every little thing that mentions it, there is no moving past. This is how World War Two started in the very first place. It's been almost 70 years. That also doesn't lessen the severity of what happens, but as long as people dwell and continue to viciously attack others, then the same point of all wars continue. It's heated indifferences that cause countries to go to war.

And I just don't heed to verbal attacks. The first person was polite and it is something we've taken into account because of THEIR response. Me, personally though, I have a hard time bending to anyone's will when they're so rude, closed minded, and backlashing at such an elevated extent that it goes beyond discussion and advice to completely acting like a moron. Which makes it probably a good thing that I'm not a mod. And I admit that fully. Which is why, after this response, I'm not answering any more of them. I'm done fuelling it.
