Angel Grove OOC

I'd like to get Aedan out of captivity by the end of the weekend, IRL time. I figure we can thread the events as long as we need otherwise. Several characters have offered help, and I'm thinking it's a good idea to coordinate what people who've offered will be doing here.

Aedan's being held in a defunct asylum in the middle of nowhere on a strange island that the characters will have to get to. He's in a padded cell mostly under guard and restrained, for the most part, and also badly injured and very ill.

So, here's a breakdown of what should go down and what my characters are doing .

In future, Sebastian's looking for new security people/bodyguards for his kids, support for his family in the house and a staff of people to prevent this happening again. If you'd like your character to work in the castle, like a more relaxed version of Downton Abbey in Scotland, feel free to let me know. They can live on sight, on the grounds, which has a pool, theatre, game room and stables and tennis court to name a few. There's also a gatehouse and a couple other places people might want to live in, and lots of rooms in the castle itself. The rules aren't exactly going to be strict standards for staff or anything, and they'd become more like family, ideally. Let me know if you'd like in!

You know that thing where Sar doesn't do Game of Thrones? Apparently that doesn't apply to the Telltale Game. This is Lady Talia Forester, and she's coming in from the end of the 5th "episode" that's just been released. Talia's a smart, resourceful 12 year old girl who HAS learned how to fight from her family's retainer, though she doesn't often use it. She's recently watched her family fall apart in the wake of the Red wedding as the Boltons replaced the Starks as the family her House swears fealty to.

House Forester supplies ironwood, a strong material made from trees that makes good armor and weapons, and they're known for being the best with the resource only they can provide. Now for some specific spoilers.

Talia's known as the songbird of her family, and she writes music along with singing it. She's the only one who has ever been able to soothe her twin, Ethan, when he's troubled, and dealing with all that's happened to her, and his lack of presence is going to be difficult.

And stuff. I'd love if family members/friends came in, particularly Asher(I'd love to see how they play off each other) , Ethan, or Rodrik. I also think she'd be good friends with Arya Stark. She's open to plots with anyone here too!

Okay. I have been thinking. I still need some time, esp with Chelsea just erasing everything that Stanner had together instead of them just breaking up. That was fun to find out. Regardless, while I am staying, I think, I am dropping any characters that don't get a lot of interaction. Right here is where you speak up andsay whether you want me to keep a certain charrie.

I know I sound a lot passive aggressive...... Today is the anniversary of my grandmother's death, so there really is no cheering me up today, and I am not sure that.... never mind. Shouldn't finish that.

This is Sar with Ser Damien, a Dragon Age Inquisition OC/NPC who cropped up in PSLs and storylines I've been doing with regard to the larger world of Thedas.

Damien hails from the Free Marches and is expected to follow in his mother's footsteps and become Margrave, the ultimate ruler of his city state, when she retires. For now, he's a Templar Knight Lieutenant , left without much of a chain of command after the Conclave. Due to those events, the only natural thing to do was join the Inquisition with his best friend, and another knight who has quickly become the third member of their little trio. Together, they're a familiar sight around Skyhold, and can frequently be found admiring Cullen, trying to assist him in some way, or fanboying him.

The trio are also rather determined to help the Inquisition's soldiers, and they're doing what they can to help them train in terms of fighting, helping others with paperwork, or whatever else is needed at any time. Damien especially is eager to lend a hand when it comes to the clerical details. It lets him get near Lady Josephine, who he has a secret crush on.

Damien is passionate, a rather devout Andrastian, and has a habit of rushing into danger like an idiot again and again and again. He's not the type to rest if someone is in danger, his life has been in danger from this a great many of times, and his nose has been broken so many times, it barely has a shape. He's also got quite a great detail of burns over his body and some small ones on his face, along with various scars.

Damien is also addicted to lyrium, which helps templars to focus their abilities and allows them to control mages and to fight demons. All templars tend to need lyrium to focus, and after the supply he's been toting is gone, he's going to be fucked.

His best friends are Ser Gaheriet and Arielle, who may or may not be joining him here.

This is Sar, reviving her first character in a journal based game ever! Faramir and I have changed a lot since the early days of 2002, and I am thrilled to bring him out again. For those of you not in the know, Faramir comes from Lord of the Rings, which I'm sure everyone knows the basics of. He's Boromir's baby brother, a very talented archer and ranger who serves his country in Ithilien, where he is a Captain of the ranger unit there.

Faramir is also now Steward of Gondor and Prince of Ithilien. Aragorn's essentially given him back lands that were his ANYWAY, but we can talk about Aragorn's weird land grabbing, ignoring the set political boundaries later on, but I will spare you all the Stewardist rant for now.. He's not yet married to Eowyn, and is, in fact, coming in from the Riddermark, after the party at which their engagement is announced to the country. He'll probably not be best pleased to be away from his fiancee and with a lot of work to be done in his country.

Faramir is also dealing with the death of his beloved big brother, along with losing his father, and he'll be a bit lost and confused due to that at first as well as the new world. However, I think with time he will adjust just fine. He enjoys reading and collecting stories and old books, talking about history, and being a general brain and a top notch strategist and chess player. I really look forward to letting him run around again at last!

This is Sar, adding to the musical theatre kids because you know, I didn't play a lot of that set already or anything. And because I needed another dude to add to the sausage fest that is my brain. So this is Chris. Chris is from Miss Saigon, now that there are actual decent pictures of Brammer in the role out.

So, let's talk Miss Saigon ( triggers galore: prostitution, orientalism, war, controversy, ptsd )

So Chris is coming into the states from a war zone. He's going to be considerably screwed up, but he does tend to do well with groups of people and other soldiers who are able to get him and his experiences. He's probably in the realm of needing someone to speak to about this, but he'll also need other stuff to do and people to talk to and things like that. I'd like to get him into a better place than he is right now, in time. And plots and things! I'm open to those.
