WHO: Edmund and Regulus
WHEN: Backdated to Monday evening, eight o'clock.
WHERE: The Clog & Billycock in Dunfermline.
WHAT: Regulus asks Edmund for his assistance.
RATING: PG-13 at most, I'd imagine.
STATUS: Closed, in progress.
Regulus had gone into work in Falmouth early that day and had delegated the day's tasks out to other members of the Falcons' behind-the-scenes team of managers, coaches, and assistants. He's spent most of Monday putting plans into motion and had even started moving some of his and Mary's belongings into Grimmauld Place with the help of Kreacher. It was going to be a long, hard task to turn that place into something livable again and hopefully nothing that resembled what it once was, but it would be worth it to know that they were safe there.
At half past seven that evening, Regulus finally stopped and got ready for his meeting with Edmund Proudfoot, an Auror who had offered to help Regulus should the situation with his family and his past get any worse. Sure, he hadn't had any threats from them yet - as no one really knew about the pregnancy aside from people Regulus trusted absolutely - but he was preferring to take a proactive approach to this, instead of ignoring the potential for disaster like he had when he started getting threats after his tell-all interview.
And though he hated to leave Mary alone, he'd ordered Kreacher to watch out for her that evening ...and to try to be pleasant company while doing so. He was out of Grimmauld place by twenty til eight and took a roundabout way of getting to Dunfermline that including several Apparition points and a couple of Floo stops along the way.
Finally, he Apparated to the alley behind the Clog & Billycock at eight o'clock on the dot. He made his way around the pub to the entrance and spotted a small dog, but didn't give him a second thought as he walked inside. The pub was seedy, but he was used to that sort of thing from bartending in places just like this over the years, so it didn't bother him in the slightest. He ordered a beer and found a table that was out of the way from the majority of the rest of the room, as he waited for Edmund.
