What: Operation April Fool - Rescuing Terry and bombing the Ministry of Magic coincide
Where: Ministry of Magic - Wizengamot Courtrooms & the Atrium
When: Friday, April 1
Rating: PG-13 for violence
Thin and haggard from his incarceration, Terry entered the courtroom with his hands bound together - the party guilty for spreading what the Minister of Magic called 'treachery and slander', and for what? To have the audacity to speak out against Minister Diggory's harsh laws against those that were deemed 'traitors' or 'suspected traitors'. Forced into a chair before the Wizengamot, his hands were unbound, only to be forced into magical restraints that tied him firmly around his wrists and ankles. Terry's eyes darted to the rows of seats behind the prosecution, looking for a friendly face, and he found two in Anthony and Mandy, his wife. He took a deep breath as the leading Wizengamot rose to read the list of accusations.
Terry held on to the hope that somebody, maybe the Order, had arranged for his escape, but the situation looked bleak. The clock on the wall ticked ominously. At exactly, 9:10, the Port Key stuck beneath the chair was activated; the world around Terry swirled as the Port Key began to whisk him away, still strapped to the chair and just as surprised as everybody else.
The courtroom erupted in shouts and cries. An Auror aimed his wand, and yet another, firing in Terry's direction. One seemed to hit its mark, but the other passed right through and exploded against the floor where Terry once had been.

A couple of floors above, in the Atrium, people were blissfully ignorant of the havoc happening in the courtrooms. Witches and Wizards went about their business as usual, but that would also change, soon. The gilded fireplaces along the left hand side of the hall were used for arrivals, while the ones on the right were for departures, utilizing the floo system. It seemed like an ordinary day.
Then something peculiar happened - a witch noticed that in one of the arriving floos, instead of a person coming through the green flames, there was a package. Curious, she began walking over to investigate when it suddenly exploded with a thundering boom that echoed upon the stone walls, followed by another, and another. Chaos ensued, with people running and screaming in fear.
