It made sense to her. Tracey had been hasty in closing the shop for two days, but with Isaac's money she could now afford it. Besides, this was her version of a honeymoon, yeah? What was one day to kick back and enjoy herself? Well deserved in her opinion. She'd cried for a good hour after finding her bloody wedding ring hidden away in the bottom of her bag. The house elf must have slipped in and deposited it. It hurt to find it there and not have it placed properly on her finger as it should have been. That was partially the reason she refused to wear it. Oh, don't be confused. Tracey tried it on. She felt the cool metal warm against her skin and watched the gemstone sparkle in the light but she pulled it off before her nerves made her start playing with it. Twisting it anxiously around and around her finger. No, it was much safer in the vault.
She hated Gringotts much less since they turned her down for a loan and, instead, she'd married Isaac Montague and been given the key to his fortune. Not that she would ever take advantage of that. So she placed her ring on a shelf not far inside the door and warded a little map to it so it would never get lost.
The next stop was the pitch. There were things to be done in the shop too but with the help she was hiring soon, all that would be easier. This day was for her. Tracey had sent Astoria a quick owl, requesting permission in to the practise stands, hoping she wouldn't mind a guest to watch the team put through their paces. Anything and everything had to be done to recover from last weeks loss. Tracey knew all of the team. If not as a mate or acquaintance, she knew their names and their stats from this season and last and could recite them upon request.
When Higgs flew close enough he could hear her, she couldn't help but call out. "You're not practising with one of those tampered Ministry snitches, are you?" She smirked. Yes, that was definitely commentary on his performance.
