"I'll hold you to that." Even if Terence just came by to look around, it would be a pleasant diversion from her normal every day. Of course with the new events in her life, normal was still a bit skewed. "Hopefully by next week I will have some help hired. I only have a few more interviews left." She wasn't going to announce that Isaac's money made that happen. Tracey had a little more pride than that.
It was better not to think about what transpired. Astoria was a friend and even though she and Montague had separated before Tracey came into the picture, it could still be a sticky situation. Not one she wanted to be in the middle of. "Astoria will find someone better suited to her." She knew her friend certainly would never settle for less. Tracey shrugged but she had to agree. "I've not really asked for anything regarding Isaac or his actions or behaviour." Other than the money, the most she'd requested was he keep their interactions to be as unemotional as possible. Did she want more? Could she make him give more if she ever decided what that was?
There was a hint in Terence's tone urging her to misbehave. It was tempting. "I did promise not to publicly humiliate us all. But as I've never had an issue with that before, it is unlikely I will do so now." At the mention of Terence's mother's pastimes, Tracey gave him a small moue. "Teas?" And then she snorted, however delicately. "I run a quidditch shop." China and lace doilies weren't her thing when quaffles and brooms were more tempting. "I don't see myself having teas. That is more Isaac's sister's department." And the last thing she wanted to do was step in that circle, even if they would allow her to.
"You're coming to our reception, yeah? I'm not sure a date has been set, but it will be soon."
