"I've never thought about my position quite that way," Terence said as he crossed his arms over his chest. He'd have to remember it, perhaps share it with Astoria. Well, maybe not-- Terence would be embarrassed to have her think that he came up with something like that if she wasn't impressed by it. "Although I'm not sure that I'd call our matches a beautiful symphony," he added, his lips quirking up slightly. No, he'd much rather hear the other team screaming in pain. "I could come by the store sometime, if you'd like a visitor," Terence offered. He wasn't sure that he really needed new gloves, the ones that he had were rather nice, but then, he didn't know if they were the best.
"Just because you're smart doesn't me you don't deserve to be happy or have romance," Terence reminded her. "You're part of a marriage of convenience, and I understand that's not an uncommon arrangement, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't be able to enjoy yourself." Terence paused for a moment to look around the pitch to see if Isaac was anywhere close. "Especially since your husband's the sort who will take every advantage of every opportunity which presents himself," he added. Terence knew that he'd probably said too much, but he hated seeing Tracey so dejected about her marriage when she was still supposed to be honeymooning or something. It wasn't at all how Terence wanted his marriage to work.
