"Very well," Terence said with a nod. If Astoria could see him now, she might frown at his behavior, but then, he was fiercely protective of his cousins; it made sense that he would show concern for their friends as well. "Good luck with the help at the store, I hope it works out. Most of the women I know don't take enough time for themselves, and it's always the ones who deserve it the most who never take it."
"Of course she will," he replied optimistically. If anybody on the planet deserved happiness and love, it was Astoria. She just needed to find somebody who truly deserved her and would treat her like the perfect woman that she was. Terence didn't exactly want to think about the day that she found somebody she could love more than she loved him, but he wouldn't stand in the way of her future just because he might be a bit jealous. "Perhaps you should think on that again, unless you don't mind him engaging whoever crosses his path," Terence added with a shrug. No, Montague wasn't suitable husband material for any woman, but he could hardly say that to Tracey in a polite way, so it was better to keep his lips sealed on the issue.
"You do have the quidditch shop, but there are other responsibilities that come with marriage in our society, you know," he reminded her. Not that every woman had to have teas, but there were expectations. Although their marriage was already quite unconventional, Terence thought that they would at least do their best at least try to blend in. Perhaps that wasn't the plan at all. No, it really wasn't any of his business, but the whole situation was sort of fascinating to Terence. It was supposed to be all about convenience, but it didn't seem like it was going to be easy for either of them, Tracey least of all. "You never know, you might surprise yourself with ways to occupy your free time," Terence said with a shrug.
"I'll be there," he answered with a curt nod. "Provided that Daphne doesn't need me, of course," Terence added. He wasn't sure about his cousin's exact due date, but judging by the size of her stomach, he hoped that it was approaching soon.
