Alej here and I'm introducing my second charie! :D I bring you Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat. Though she is college age she's a bit older than the others so she is also the teacher of Computers and helps with the training as well. :)

Ahem. I'm a bit late, but hey, better late than never, yes? Anyway, this here is your friendly neighborhood Spider-man mercenary, Deadpool, aka Wade Wilson, aka Chester Cheeto, aka Baron Hans von Wienerschnitzelkaufmannmuellerschmidt, aka Paula Abdul (long story), aka Eric Estrada (even longer story), aka Thom Cruz (boy, that was fun), and about fifty others. So say hi, kids, and don't be scared off by his OMG SO SERIOUS icon there. He was in a mood, see, and was drinking himself into oblivion (or trying to, anyway) upon hearing the news of his beloved Bea Arthur, and these things happen.

He's really a big ol' teddy bear. Packing heat. But don't worry, he's totally not after you. Unless someone pays him enough. Or offers him a six-pack and an issue of Field & Stream. But barring that, you're completely safe. So relax, pull up a chair, and introduce yourself to everyone's favorite merc with a mouth.

A few notes about this Wade:
I've tried to make him fit into the abomination that was "Deadpool" in XMO: Wolverine, as well as tying in his comic canon history, so here's the Cliff Notes, ( after the jump, cut for Wolverine spoilers! )

Hey folks. Beck here ala Kiernan. I just wanted to mention that Jordan and I re-wrote a scene that had been completed, but with a character that is no longer in the game. So, it's all new and up to date and includes Mirage and Dukes (Blob). So, check it out: right here.

Hello there. My name is Hope, and I am very pleased to make your acquaintance. It's great to find an interesting, active X-Men game once more. It's been too long for me, so I really look forward to getting back into this awesome fandom.

I am 21 and a junior English major in college preparing to go on summer break. I'm really excited for all of the RPing that I will get to do in my free time. That leads me to introduce to you my character, Miss Jean Grey, otherwise known as Phoenix. I'm really excited to play her; I hope that you're as excited to have her around.

As a side note, Jean is not yet Phoenix. At this time, she is simply Jean Grey (Marvel Girl if you want to embarrass her). She has most of her psionic powers, but she also has heavy neural inhibitors, and she doesn't use her powers very often. Lately, classes are the extent of it as she is somewhat of a pacifist. Hopefully there will be some great trauma that a team cannot overcome, it will lead to her untimely demise (Sorry, Scott!), and she'll be able to come back better than ever. If you're interested in helping out with that plot, let me know.

LONG OVERDUE!

So apparently I'm supposed to be making some kind of OOC post to introduce myself. So I think I'm going to do just that!

I'm Mike, in case any of you were wondering. I've taken up the role of Scott Summers, otherwise known as Cyclops. I'm actually pretty pleased to have found the place (Or did the place find us in this case?) I've been looking for a place with an open Scott, but it's much harder than it looks. Who'd have guessed, he's a pretty popular guy.

Alright...So, I'm up for pretty much anything, at pretty much anytime. I work three days a week right now. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so my posting then will be a little off. It's 8am-4:30pm EST, just so you all know. Other than that I'm generally around from 5ish to about 2 in the morning, depending on the day. I welcome any and all attempts at Rp, and will soon have a most wanted thread list up at least as soon as I can think of it.

I think that's all? You all know where to get ahold of me if you'd like to plot. (It's in my profile after all, and you should be reading that :p) So with this, I bid you adieu, and good playing for us all!

Hey guys! :) I wanted to make mention that I'd dropped a few characters and picked one up. I'll be playing Dukes (aka Blob), and I've made a few of my characters adoptable NPCs.

Diamond, Toad, Cyclops and Warp are now adoptable NPCs.
Trance is now solely an NPC.

The load was too much and I didn't want to keep characters that others were interested in. Speaking of which, I've already talked to a new Emma potential, and left word with a possible pair of players looking into Scott and Jean (and Mystique). So, yay. ^_^

For specific interactions with those characters that I've dropped to NPC status, please don't hesitate to ask me to write out a scene with you as them until they are taken. I'll gladly write them and we can all make mention of them in threads/scenes. So for you Havoks, Sabretooths, Britannics and all the men who <3 Emma, they'll be around. Don't feel like they're lost! :) I just couldn't be responsible for that many and do them all justice.

There have been some issues related to past players (from here, or from x_aftermath_x) and I wanted to set some things straight. If you have a problem with sex scenes/"smut", please don't read it, or ask for a summary. This game is marked 'adult'. And all of the entries are labeled with descriptions and ratings. None of you have complained, but apparently my enjoyment in writing love scenes has upset people in the past. So if someone has something to say, please do so. Don't keep things bottled up. It's how problems start.

Finally, as a relatively new development, I will not talk about other players behind their backs. I will not complain or gossip about them. If you come to me looking to gossip, don't expect much of a response. If you have complaints about other players (for any reason), I'll listen and try my hardest to handle the situation so everyone is happy. If I have ill feelings toward a player or character, I will either keep them to myself or express them politely in an effort to keep everyone happy and so things stay open and honest. In the past, I avoided sharing opinions of dislike simply to avoid hurting people's feelings. I've learned that most people just want to hear your honest opinion. If this isn't true for you, let me know. I'll completely understand. It is, however, true for me. So if anyone has any issues with my style of writing or modding or any of my characters, please don't think I'll get angry with you for expressing yourself. Via e-mail, IM, PM or comments, I'll listen to whatever anyone has to say. Thanks guys. :)

Hello all! I'm Lindsey, and obviously, I'm brand spankin' new. I'm a recent college grad, role play addict, and jobless wonder. I'm very excited to get started and to play with all of you! It's been a while since I've been involved in an X-Men or comic-related game, so please, be gentle with me!

I'm bringing in Rogue. It's not my first time playing her, but it has been a while, and it's my first time playing her as being movie-canon and not comic-canon, so I'm really excited to explore the voice of this particular version. Now, there are many similarities to the Rogue from the movie, but there are also some differences, so hang with me while I try to summarize this. Like movie-canon, Rogue grew up in a white-picket-fence kind of world, but always wanted something more. And then she got it, and boy did it suck. So now she's chillin' in New York, has no money, and life pretty much sucks. In this version, Rogue met no awesomely awesome Wolverine in a bar, and so she's been on her own ever since leaving home. This has made her a little bit... darker, I guess, compared to the rather shy and sheltered Rogue we met in the movies.

As of right now, Rogue belongs to no affiliation. In fact, she hasn't been approached by either side. She's quite happily a mess in solitude right now. I have it figured that, unlike movie Rogue, she'll probably end up with the Brotherhood before she finds her way to the X-Men. I have a very small, tentative list of wanted scenes here (which will look prettier soon, I promise), and her profile is here!

So feel free to IM me anytime in order to plot! I love to scene and can't wait to get started!

Hi all... planning on getting into the game, just have a question for you all. Are there any posts that any of you might wanna do with Northstar? Otherwise, I'll just put something up, probably as an open tag.

As for Silver, since she's an OC, I doubt there are many who desire her for posts in particular, but if you wanna do a generic younger students post... (she's 18) let me know. Otherwise I'll probably just do an open post for her too.

Alej here. Just a quick update on the hiatus thing...

Thanks so much to those who wished me well on the post my friend did. I had her put it up because I wasn't sure when I would get a chance to be back on here. I'm ok though I still feel a bit like crap. But at least it turned out to be my small intestine which is a lot easier to take care of. So no surgery for me pero, yo tengo meds! lol (I have meds)

So as for the hiatus I'm technically still on it due to finals right now. Though Amara is still here and I'll still be in tagging and such. I apologize ahead of time if they can be a bit slow, but they'll be there. If anyone is up for plotting/threads let me know though. I'm always open for them. :)

Jordan and I spent a lot of the day rearranging our answers on our character surveys, and Rob did as well, when he got home. If any of you new guys want to participate, they're right here - Character Survey, as well as the Sexy Survey. Amanda - feel free to rearrange as well.

These aren't mandatory and are meant to be for fun, so if you don't think they're fun, ignore 'em. :) Some of our previous members found them pointless/offensive, I guess? - which is why I rearranged so the more risque questions were on one and the basic questions were on another.

Anyway, we have lots of plot in store. Don't forget to keep your wanted scenes updated when you think up new stuff/accomplish threads. Check each other's out. :D

Hello, I am Bill, and new to this game. I am a college student and avid role player in my free time, and I look forward to getting to know and play with all of you here.

I'm bringing in Alex Summers, one of my all time favorite X-Men. I've only really ever played him briefly, so I am looking forward to this opportunity. He's going to be somewhat standoffish and brooding at first, and jealous of anyone Lorna flirts with. At the same time, though, he's too nice a guy to try to blast Britannic into the next world or something (nevermind that Alex would well get pummeled if he tried!).

Since he has more time to himself, he'll be working toward finishing his doctorate. In the future I am hoping/thinking of perhaps having him infiltrate the Brotherhood (once there is more of a Brotherhood to infiltrate!) and maybe, (mods permitting!) a space faring adventure some day, like he has been doing in the comics of late.

But those are just future ideas!

If anyone wants to hit Alex up for plot, let me know.

Hullo, my name is Lexi; I'm a RL friend of Alej's and player of L and Rorschach in a few games, so some of you might know who I am.

Anyhow... Alej asked me to post from her account that she will be on a two week hiatus for school and health reasons. She'll be OK, but things sounded fairly serious over the phone and she could not post these notices herself, as she is on her way to the doctor's and/or hospital as I write them.

Hello everyone! I am Alejandra (Alej) and I'm new here. I'm really excited to be a part of this game!

I am 18 and a freshman in college. Currently my major is English and History though this is the fourth time I've changed it *dies* so I guess we'll see. lol

As for my charie, I bring you Amara Aquilla (AKA Magma). She is 19 and has geothermal powers. Including the control of earth and fire, immunity to fire, as well as taking on a Magma form where she emites intense fire and light.

According to the mods she is going to be rooming with Jubilee and Minka. :)

Well that's all I've got for an intro as of right now. My aim is adanesne2 hit me up whenever for plotting and other odds and ends. Oh and add lavapool to your friends list, por favor y muchas gracias,

Amanda again, this time with her very first OC (so, as I told Beck last night, this will either be awesome or disastrous), Kaitlyn "Cleric" Malone, as played by the lovely Shannyn Sossamon. Katie is (barely) a Pisces, 21, a dancer (not that kind of dancer), and a mutant. Duh, right? She heals others by absorbing their injury/illness/whathaveyou and fixing it in her own body with a healing factor, which isn't as advanced as what Wolverine and Sabretooth and the like have, but it's something.

She's also a leeeetle bit unstable after basically letting someone die because she was scared her powers wouldn't work, but she's getting better.

She's, uh, also likely to weird you out by being almost junkie-like with injuries; they feel good when they start to heal, dontcha know, and it's kind of like a bizarre drug, so she might stab someone just so she can heal them and get that rush don't let that alarm you.

Various odds and ends:
-- We'll say she's been at Xavier's since, oh, the beginning of the year, okay? Okay.
-- She prefers to go by Katie, but she'll answer to Kaitlyn, Kate, and occasionally (if you're her grandmother), Katie-Lynn.
-- Her long-term goals are to become a semi-successful (at least professional in some sense) dancer, either in ballet or modern dance, and to gain further understanding of her powers so that she doesn't freeze up the next chance she gets to save someone. Short-term goals include kidnapping and marrying two of the three Gossip Girl, uh, boys, and paying off a collection of parking tickets before she gets sued.

No wanted scenes post as of just yet, but will update accordingly when I get off my duff and fill it out. In the meantime, if anyone wants to game with the latest resident weirdo, feel free to hit me up for plotting. :)

Hi guys. I wanted to ask for some feedback on a feature within the game.

Should we friend-lock/make entries private?

Please please please comment with your thoughts, either way.

I'm suggesting we do this for the simple fact that I don't like the idea of strangers reading and commenting on my personal writings. Of course there's the option of only locking certain entries, but I like things to be uniform. So. Ideas? Thanks folks.

Anyhoo, Bobby's going to be older than he would have been before the first movie because I'm sick to death of playing teenagers ;). I plan for him to [hopefully] be a cross between cocky comic!Bobby and super sensitive emo movie!Bobby.

Oh, and ladies, you can add him to your 'want to sleep with' lists now. ;)

Actually, in the comics, no one ever seems to want to sleep with him except Jay Pee. Poor guy lol.

hiya! ben here, and i thought i'd pimp randomly offer a plot/chat idea for the taking. anyone up for a backdated chat in NYC with Jean-Paul? it can be anyone volunteering to pick him up from his hotel, or it can be a random encounter by anyone, including non x-men (members of the Brotherhood, possible Hellfire Club recruitment drive?). Any excuse is a good excuse to get chatting!

i'm also open to any other ideas thrown me way. i'm easy, lol.

Now that the game is officially open, I'm ready to start up more scenes/threads! One of my gals (Scarlet Witch) is in desperate need of something to do. Nothing too big! I'm trying to keep my opening scenes pretty simple, so anything to do with socializing would be great.

New Rule: (And this won't happen very often.) Leigh suggested this, so credit to her for this courteous (and helpful) new 'guideline'. It simply suggests that we finish our threads instead of dropping them, whether they get written out or summarized. See it here: #15.

Also, we'll be starting tomorrow after I post an opening OOC. All in character posts should be postponed until then. I know a lot of you have written up loads of posts that are ready to go. :D I don't have much planned to get finished before then, but a few things are in mind.

Finally, I've tweaked one of my OCs, which in turn has affected several OCs. Zakiya/Zap (zapster is now the birth mother of Brogan (another_murphy). She and Ronan/Mars (upgradeyou) concieved him when she was 17, married a year or so later and have raised him happily (I think, at least) since. So, my character Americus/Trance (tranced) is now his (Brogan's) blood relative, a cousin. His uncles consist of Conlan/Sentient (sentient_), who is played by Rob, and my new OC (as I have a crippling Murphy addiction - can you blame me? ---> Murphy brothers), Kiernan/Grasp (inmygrasp). He will have a profile before tomorrow. *vows* So, the basement rats have their own little one to spoil and terrorize as they see fit (ie: Forge, Matrix, Jeanix, Britannic, Chamber, possibly Kitty, Sentient, Trance, Beast, etc), not to mention some scandalous craddle-robbing backdates (17/26) to gossip about.

P.S. Don't forget to tag your ICs and your OOCs. And check out your new player's intro which I have unfortunately buried: Bree. Yay Kitty.

Hi, everyone. =D I'm Bree, and I'll be your resident Shadowcat. *takes a big, over-dramatic and rather flourished bow, awaiting applause* *...waits* *...waits more* *looks up, clears throat in the awkward silence, and continues*

So, about me. I'm 22. I've been role-playing for about 7 years now. I'm your typical Libra (No, really, Sun sign, Moon sign, Rising sign? All Libra.) Please don't come to me to make a decision. I can't do it. Well, that's not fair. I can, but I need all of the information, and time to weigh the pros and cons of each side of the argument. Really, just read a Libra profile, and you know all about me.

... Yes. It really is that bad.

I adore all types of music, and religiously watch certain TV shows (General Hospital, Fringe, Lost, The Office, Heroes, and a whole bunch more). I have a very off sense of humor, and chances are if you ping me on AIM (skullcrusherbree) you'll get a whole bunch of random youtube links from me. It takes me a bit to warm up to people, so don't be offended if I'm a little quiet, give it a bit, and then you'll be begging to shut me up.

Which is actually, sort of like Kitty. Well, at least the part where you'll be begging for her to shut up.

SO. KITTY PRYDE. Her full background and all is HERE. In a nutshell? She's a snarky, genius, teenage girl. She has no problems talking to anyone, but she finds herself much more comfortable around older people. If you are around the school, there is no doubt in my mind that Kitty has babbled at you, at length, about her opinions on whatever the topic du jour is. She's really a lot of fun, and I promise to make her profile pretty here in a bit.

Her wanted scenes are HERE. They are by no means complete, and chances are that I can come up with something fun for your character to do with her.
