Wizard Love

Just a quick reminder here that Wizard Love 2010 is not over yet! Remember, we'll be posting a few days into March. There are still some fantastic pieces to come, so do keep watching!

We hope you've enjoyed all the fics and art that's been posted over the past month -- if you haven't done so already, please read/view/comment on as much as possible. Everyone involved worked really hard to do amazing things for the comm and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome!

Seeing how this weekend is a big holiday for a lot of people, we will be holding off posting reveals until Monday, March 24 so you have the entire weekend to peruse all the goodies, make comments and tell everyone just what you loved about their stuff. If you were involved in the exchange and haven't commented on your gift yet, please do!

Thanks again to everyone involved -- all our signups, our wonderful pinch hitters, and all the readers/viewers who have taken the time to comment.

Just a reminder to our participants:

It is never good form to send in art/fic that you've written prior to the exchange as a gift for your recipient, unless it's something no one's seen before and it happens to fit the requirements. It's unbelievably bad form to send in art/fic you've done prior to an exchange when you've posted that fic elsewhere and pimped it around. If you think that no one is going to notice, believe us, they will. And do.

Anyone who pulls this will be summarily kicked out of the exchange and banned from any further exchanges we run. The information will be shared with other exchange mods so they can be aware that it's happened.

The point of this sort of art/fic exchange is to create a gift for someone else and to get a gift that someone else created for you. It's supposed to be something tailored for them and something special. Not something recycled because you couldn't be bothered to actually do something. It really is a slap in the face of everyone involved who does put time and effort into doing something for the exchange.

And it makes you look like an ass.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we're experiencing some technical difficulties. katesque's computer decided to commit suicide yesterday and ragdoll is stuck in Los Angeles due to weather and American Airlines' stupidity so our posting schedule is a little messed up. We've just put up two(the second one from yesterday, the first for today) and hopefully there will be a second one to be had later today (assuming ragdoll can get back to New York tonight - she spent most of yesterday in LAX trying to get home and failing miserably). We apologise profusely for the slight hiccup. Hopefully we'll be back on our regular posting schedule sometime tomorrow or the next day at the latest. Thanks for your patience!

There will be an wizard_love exchange for February 2008! Sorry to be leaving this so late to let everyone know but real life has been in the way. Signups will begin for the exchange on 29 November 2007. Be there or be square!
