By the Seven I think I miss having the Northern Bastard around. It was at least interesting discussion, he'd tell me why I was an example of all that was wrong in Westeros. I'd point out we weren't IN Westeros, he'd threaten me with his pet wolf and call me Kingslayer. And round went the cycle. Might not have their blood but he was a Stark.

Anyway, getting on with things. Joffery, how are you settling back in. Or are we still stuck on what you believe you discovered back home?

Getting in the jabs where you can. Reminds me of a friend I had in my world. I'd call her a woman-shaped battering ram, and she'd call me a whore. All was well with the world then. At least it was something normal, something familiar, you know?

Ah, the brutal honest truth, then? He was from a rival or hated country in your world? Amusingly disappointed, interesting description there, I have to say. That's one I've never heard before, nor would I use it to describe anything about you.

Me? I feel as though I should be worried at that statement. Either that or feel like I'm some priceless treasure just waiting to be discovered. I prefer the last one.

So back to your original statement, did you reveal your past to someone or are you just thinking about it?

You are much too handsome to never lie with a woman. Oaths of chastity can be a waste on certain people. But I suppose not having a family would allow you to protect the King at all times, so I can see the logic behind that part.

I am glad to hear that. Some things aren't easy to come to terms with, but this suggests there's potential for a better future for the both of you now that things are in the open.

The shouldn't is what makes it even more enticing. And it makes it better when you do indulge yourself.

Perhaps you don't need to be. I'm definitely not one to give advice on family as mine threw me away like I was nothing, but at least you care about him and he cares about you. Maybe that's all you both need. Father and son are just names when it comes down to it.

	Oh I definitely agree with you, ser knight. Maybe let him know you're there for him when he needs you and that you care about him. Sometimes it helps reminding people their family is there, even if they aren't exactly who they were raised to believe they were. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yes, you could. And I would then prove it to you.

That's what a father should do, encourage their children to be the best person they can. Protect him and be sure he's on the right path. And for the love of the Maker, don't try to put him into some arranged marriage. Not that there's many women here who could be considered queen material, but still, it probably won't go over well.

	Prove it. Isabela, I couldn't marry my love because society says we're wrong. I joined the Kingsguard to be close to her only to have her taken from Kings Landing altogether. I've worn this cloak and served a mad king until even Oaths could not stay my sword. And I did it all for her. So why would I prevent my son marrying for love. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
