I asked Arlo once and he said, "because it was a damn good deal." Meaning as a cheap bastard, he figured if he could purchase three for the price of one he didn't mind reminding the rest of the household of their mortality.

That would be him. Morbid but somewhat normal around where I'm from. Some keep family cemeteries on the property. Not great with necromancers in the family but thankfully most Givens aren't petty enough to stick around to haunt.

Though having your home here is always a good thing. I certainly breathed a sigh of relief when I arrived and Sabrina told me that Mortuary was here.

As terrifying as the idea is, I want to make sure the kid's taken care of in case anything happens to me or I disappear.

It is nice. The apartments are plenty nice, don't get me wrong. Better than most if all the apartments I've had over my lifetime. There's just something about having familiar territory with a lot of unfamiliar.

I am sure someone would take care of your daughter, though I've noticed when a parent gets sent home, their child usually goes with them.

I'm sure the apartments are lovely. If I had to when I first arrived, I would have stay in them. However, it is nice having pieces of home here. I've had several buildings show up now.

One of my friends had the cemetery he was buried in show up, so I guess a tombstone is pretty normal. I think it's gone now, but you know.
