Right. Also got one of the glowing animals. Don't know what kind it is but looks like this;





On other matters back in my previous dimension I was part of a veteran's group. Did more or less what the 'Previously Dead' Club does, except geared towards people that have fought. If there's interest, could look into setting that up. Helped me a lot.

Okay! I think the first thing we'll do is some simple diagnostics and that shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to complete. That'll tell me if it's a mechanical or code-based issue. Regardless we'll do a silicone wash to make sure it's not just dust and grime getting in there and gumming up the works. And I'll see about working in some energy shielding to keep that from happening.

Sorry, I love working with new tech so I get a little excited!

It's fine, you obviously love this stuff. Not an engineer technically but I know enough to repair a few things. And I like learning so if you want to run me through what you're doing I'm happy to listen.

Sadly, that's not something I can do either. There's a technique I've heard about that lets you do it but it's dark side powered so I avoid it.

I don't quite know what that means but it sounds ominous. I don't know why talking to machines would be a bad thing, but I don't know your homeworld either :(

Was told this particular power is more or less imposing your will over mechanical constructs, so from what I know it's not really talking. It's telling something to go against it's own desires, and forcing it do what you want.

Only the sentient ones can hold a conversation on their own, but there might be a way. Ways of the Force are mysterious and all that.
