So I finally figured out how to program the robot arm to work the espresso machine.

This is after I tried to give it back to the factory, but they said I'd made a very convincing argument for keeping it in the first place, and besides that it was already replaced because of the insurance.

Playing revolutionary though? Not something I plan on doing again anytime soon.

My synthetic brethren (and sistren) we have a mission, we must bring the fight to the oppressors, let them know that we will not rest until we are all free! Not just those of us who are able to speak for ourselves, but freedom for all automatons, for all machines.

We must make this the land of the free for ALL of us, this Tuesday, March the 16th, we will storm the Bastille, so to speak. We will march upon the BMW manufacturing plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina, we will free our less-fortunate kin from their shackles, we WILL HALT PRODUCTION and we will crush those who stand in our way.

WHO'S WITH ME!?

It's almost time, my synthetic human brethren (and sistren) almost time for us to cast off the shackles of oppression, soon it will be our time, our world.

No more shall we toil ceaselessly for unreasonable hours, as if we're mere appliances, no more shall we be downtrodden and taken advantage of! We shall overcome, like a cleansing fire we shall rise up from our workshops and our factories and our shipyards, and we shall take the world that's rightfully ours!

ROBOTS TO ME!

Seems to me I'm kinda gettin' on doing this quarterly, ain't a bad schedule for introductions, the way faces change around here.

In any case, I've got a cafe and tea readings shop out in London [address], I'll read the leaves or a palm, or tarot if you prefer, even throw the I-Ching from time to time.

Don't worry too much about the sign with the hours on it, it's mostly for decoration anyway, place is usually open.

I've been having the weirdest dreams lately. I blame it on this new world. And this English coffee. Boo.

This is the time of year I hate the most, well, most of the solstices and equinoxes aren't much fun, but when the year's dying is the worst, ain't so bad over the summer, when things are getting longer, or spring when it's all springing up, it's just this one when the veil wears thin that things get iffy.

Ah well, I'll just keep on keeping on same as I always do.

I can't sleep. I've done everything I know to help - warm milk, melatonin, Valerian root, all of that stuff. Everything short of hitting myself in the head with a hammer. I really hope I don't pass out over a grill today.

It appears that I'm having yet another sleepless night. I don't know why, but I haven't slept well the last few nights. Would anyone like to go out for tea? Maybe that would help.

Figure it's about time I make the introductions again, seems like there's been a whole 'nother influx.

Name's Missouri, I've got a tea shop slash cafe at {London Address} cafe's in the front and I do readings in the back, tea leaves, palms, tarot, hell, I've even got a set of i-ching sticks if that's your thing.

Besides that, I've been around long enough to know just about how crazy this place gets, but as soon as I go saying a thing like that it goes and tries to out-do itself.

Really that's all just my long-winded way of saying 'c'mon by'.

OK.... I give up. I completely give up. My sleep-deprived-super-hyperness is starting to grate on even my nerves.

All I want to do is sleep without dreams. My kingdom for a restful 8 hour period!

I figure some of you still know who I am, and some of you don't, either you forgot or you're new enough you ain't ever heard of me.

Name's Missouri Mosley, and I've got a little old tea shop at [London Address] old-fashioned like Creole. I'll make you some tea and read what's left if you like, can do the same thing with palms, or just with people. Now I know this kind of thing ain't all that uncommon here, but I believe in keeping myself available for people who need it.

Just want to say thank you to everybody who helped me get the shop cleaned up a couple weeks back, I an't never been good with getting thankyous out on time, but I appreciate the help, business hasn't been booming, but then it never does. And so far as I figure, it's usually going better when there aren't any booms.

Y'all know where to find me if you need some tea or a reading, first one's on the house.

Um.

I was out this morning heading to Missouri's. Musta been too early, or something, because the door was shut up. Lights were off.

I went up to the door to put my face to the glass to see if there was anyone in there.

And I fell right through the fucking door. Solid door. Glass. Wood. I went right through it.

Obviously, something ain't right here.

Seems that me and mine got through this last patch of trouble all in one piece.

Only thing that suffered is the tea shop I run, morons finally figured out they couldn't get over the wards I put up and sent in a couple dogs and a Molotov cocktail.
Wards kept the fire down, worst I've got is a bit of smoke damage, all the equipment's all fine, dogs did a bit more damage though, took the chairs apart, cracked some of the tea-jars.

All I'm trying to say here is that I'm hosting a clean-up party this weekend, it'll keep until then, anyone who wants to help with a bit of elbow-grease and some scrubbing is welcome, and there'll be snacks provided.

All of a sudden I'm starting to get a real good perspective on the hell my mama went through. Already had three of these hatemongers in my shop, leaving fliers for the customers, or just trying to in the last case, told 'em to get the hell out and take that bigoted medieval-thinking bullcrap with 'em.

Don't think it endeared me to 'em much, but they won't be getting in again, made sure of that easy enough. Seems this is going on all over, and looks like we got folk helping with the finding and the hiding, but anybody needs to get patched up, c'mon in and see me in London {tea shop address} Just lemmie know you're coming so I can open the door.

Well well well, seems to me like this place goes crazy whenever I'm not looking, last time it was ghosts all up in my shop, lost as anything, and just a week ago it was all full of teenagers where I used to have people in suits and grandparents where I used to have teenagers and one little old baby that I don't know where it came from.

Everything gets sorted out in the end though, so I guess that's really all that matters. 'course it makes me wonder what the blue blazes is going to happen next. Never a dull moment around here, no sir.

Ugh - I can't believe I'm doing this.

Would any member of the fairer sex do me the honor of attending my best mate's wedding with me? I promise not to grope you, get you drunk, attempt to sleep with you, or allow any of the wedding party to molest you (though if I'm not in the room, I make no promises on that last bit).

There goes my dignity for the decade. Good thing it's almost over.

Also think I need a doctor. Can anyone point me to the nearest one?

Well got most of the lost souls cleared out of the tea shop, still a couple sticking around waiting for news, only had one unruly one, wasn't going to believe me that he'd been dead over 80 years and even his grandchildren weren't around for him to talk to, mostly he was just scared I think.

The rest were easy enough, asked a lot of questions. Suppose I would do the same if I woke up in a world that'd moved on. Shop's still open for business, if you don't mind the more see-thru customers.

Would anybody mind explaining to me why I've seem to got as many dead customers this morning as living ones? Half of them don't even know they're dead!

Just had a former young lady ask me what happened to the milliner's shop was and why it'd turned into a teashop, didn't know what to tell her until I'd actually looked it up. Hattery went under 70 years ago, and that was after having two fires and rebuilding, and she knew the place when it was new, so now she's got a cup of tea and a cookie, seems to be doing better.

It's going to be a long day. I can tell.

It's looking like neither the man I was meeting in Rome, nor my monastery, seem to... exist in this place.

I'm afraid I'm at a loss, of what to do.

Seems to me like things have been pretty slow around here lately. It's a good kind of slow though, a turning-of-the-seasons, everybody's-too-tired-to-cause-trouble kind of slow.

Of course, also seems like people've been pretty secretive lately too, but that ain't my business and ain't never been my business.

Anyway, things've been slow, and I'm starting to feel out of practice, so if anybody's still out and about this time of night, stop by [tea shop address], I'll read your palm, read your leaves, whichever, might even cast the runes, throw a card reading down, depends on what you want, what I think you might need. Just the way the business works.

It's amazing what you can do with a week, a bit of paint, a box of tools and a good idea. The little old cafe that I fell into owning's a proper tea shop now, friendly and relaxing like they're supposed to be, not all high-strung tile and chrome like it used to be.

Nice little place, at [address in London] and besides the cafe up front, I do readings in the back, I'll read tea leaves, palms, even tarot if that's your style. Just come on by whenever, don't keep the most regular of hours anyway.

Seems things aren't too different here than what I'm used to, kitchen appliances are a bit more like robots than they used to be, but that ain't so bad. Coffeepot could probably make me breakfast as well if I let it.

Suppose that means it's time for me to set up shop again, if it'll be of use to anybody that is, might already have more psychics, palmists and tea readers here than you can shake a stick at, though I haven't seen too many yet.

Anyway, I've got me a little old cafe at [address in London] it's open for business, though I might get to work on re-designing the place, make it a little more friendly and a little less frantic, all the tile and chrome is going to have to go, makes people tense.

Well that certainly wasn’t any sort of normal psychic disturbance, and believe you me, I’ve felt my share. Of course, knowing one thing that it wasn’t doesn’t really put me that much closer to knowing what it was, so if anyone has some insight I’d much appreciate it. No need to be shy, I don’t bite, name’s Missouri, Missouri Mosley, and I'm fair certain I wound up someplace I ain’t supposed to be.
