Team Romance has elected venivincere as Captain and bethbethbeth as Co-Captain. We are also counting on ziasudra_fic and paintobscura as co-maintainers of team_romance in case the Captain and Co-Captain are unavailable to assist team members and the snarry_olympics mods.

djin7, several of Team Romance's members will need a full month to write. On the Walking the Plank home page, it states that the archive will be open for business around 14 April. From that, we developed the following tentative schedule:

--Four weeks of fic writing, ending on 30 March.
--Two weeks from 30 March to 13 April for beta, or for pinch hitters to write their stories and get them betaed.
--(If we're mod posting) presentation of completed fics to snarry_olympics mods late 13 April or early 14 April.
--Late but certain finishers (we have some longer fics planned!) to request through their Captain that you post fic for certain prompts later in the posting process rather than earlier, but only if it really is an emergency and only as a drop-dead last resort.

Please let us know if this is an acceptable schedule.

Firstly, I would like to personally thank everyone who is taking part in these games, both writers and the fans who support them.

But especially who helped to put it together and keep it going:
lizardspots did the beautiful art, layout and icons, who is an honorary mod for this community, as she is very busy studying to be a surgeon!
annephoenix is a great friend and writer, and graciously offered to help with this, and has been essential in many aspects, including the lottery draw and making of lovely team icons (which are for fans, too!), and can be here when I am not.
Special hugs to reddwarfer has also been a lifesaver, getting roped into this, and has done a great deal of work here. She is now a participant, and has to limit herself to what she can and cannot see and do.
Which brings me to aliciamasters who is, along with both Lizard, myself and Leila, a mod for Walking The Plank, and is a total darling who has offered her help however I may need it, which I do, because honestly, I had no idea this would be such a success.

So thank you so much ladies! I owe you my life one.

Uh, that was an Avengers reference for all you comics nerds out there.

Team Angst is ready to go! No one chose to swap prompts, so djin7, the assignments as you have them in the sign-up post are fine as they are.

We also wholeheartedly embrace the schedule that our valiant opponents, Team Romance, proposed. However, I'd like to discuss the option of possibly securing a later posting date for a few people with djin7 at some point if that offer is still on the table. I don't have specifics yet about who's going to need that; I just have a feeling it might come in handy and want to make sure we work out what is and is not possible in the event we need to exercise that option.

Finally, rexluscus is our captain. That's me!

We look forward to facing you on the field, Team Romance. And thanks once again to djin7, as well as to annephoenix, lizardspots, and anyone else I may have forgot who's been involved in setting this whole thing up. Team Angst is ready to kick some ass!
