RP Brooms and insults

Lavender sat at the display counter with five different brooms in front of her. They were all on an enormous display rack and the salesman was going over the pricing and features of each. Cleansweep had it's new model coming out in the Summer, which no one thought would take off. She asked questions about lift and airspeed, got answers about how pretty the handle was and that she'd be able to get it in any colour she chose.
It was rather demeaning and a little insulting.
No. Make that a lot insulting.
But she didn't let on that she'd been insulted. "So if I was to choose this model, would all the pretty changes be more money?"
Of course it would be, the salesman said. Though he wasn't that blunt. He made mentions about the extra time and labour with the manufacturer. Custom models. And so on, and so forth. Lavender had dated a quidditch player from the Wasps a couple of years ago. He'd told her about all the shady upgrades that every salesman tried to get. Commission prices were higher if the broom looked different.
"Do you make these offers with all your customers, or is it just the women with big tits that you think have nothing in their heads but make-up and sparkles?" she asked, pulling out her notepad and flipping it open. Her Prophet press badge was attached to the inside cover of the book.
That was when the salesman tossed her out.
Not so much toss, but firmly had her leave.
"You can't ignore these questions!" she called out as the door closed. "This is bad form as a salesman and blatantly misogynistic!"
