Lavender watched the expression on his face change as she started asking questions. So Monica hadn't been blowing it out of her ear when she mentioned how much Zach Smith disliked reporters. Though the story about him chasing her out of the building when she started asking Falcon questions was still hilarious. Lavender had warned the woman not to tickle that sleeping dragon.
She gave a little nod. Enough questions. She'd rather not have an awful story to tell.
There was a moment though, when she thought she wouldn't hold out her hand to him. He looked about ready to chomp on it like it was a turkey leg. But the moment seemed to pass and Lavender extended her hand.
"Lavender. Lavender Brown. We were at Hogwarts the same year. Dumbledore's Army and everything. Though you were a bit shorter then. And less... broad about the shoulders." She waved her hand at him.
